The purpose of the present general conditions is to define the conditions under which the Tulipo website provides free of charge to the user (guest photographers and correspondent) a service to exhibit photographs and a News section.

This service is offered free of charge to the user, subject to his/her acceptance of the present General Conditions. The simple act of using this service implies full acceptance of the present General Conditions .

The Tulipo website offers to host photographers who are involved in research work. This website reserves the right to publish or not to publish the photographs or texts which are submitted.

Article 3.1 For the photographs

The guest photographer and/or the correspondent gives an undertaking that :

• all persons that may feature in the photograph(s) accept their publication on the website.
  
• the photographs submitted are not libellous towards third parties or any community.
  
• the contents of the photographs do not violate either any legal restrictions , or accepted moral standards, or the rights of others.

Finally, they guarantee that they are the authors of the photographs presented.

Article 3.2 For the text

The guest photographer and/or correspondent guarantees that the information they have provided :

• concerns exclusively the theme of photography.
  
• is exact and true
  
• respects the authors’ rights and the rights of intellectual property.
  
• does not infringe any law or regulation.
  
• is not libellous, slanderous or malicious.

Article 4.1 For the photographs

A system informs the site visitor that photographs may not be copied. However, the Tulipo website has no responsibility for invited photographers making illicit copies from its website.

Article 4.2 For the texts

The texts published are edited and formatted under the sole responsibility of the respective authors. The Tulipo website declines all responsibility regarding texts published under the News section.

The present general conditions are subject to Swiss law. In case of litigation, the law courts in Geneva ( Switzerland ) are exclusively competent to decide.
